Credential Pathway

From your first intro course to the TOP 1% NEUROTRAINER designation — every credential is issued with a unique number, QR verification, and a defined renewal path.

What a Certificate of Completion means

An ISANT Certificate of Completion documents education completed in a defined curriculum — with a unique ISANT number and QR verification. It is not a government license or a medical credential.

Documents education completed under ISANT standards
Unique ISANT number + QR in the public digital registry
Does not authorize medical practice or diagnosis
Level credentials may require renewal / CE

Accreditation roadmap

Phase 1 — Now

Certificate of Completion

Education credentials with unique ISANT numbers, QR verification, and public registry. No conflict with state medical licenses.

Phase 2 — Near term

Quality system hardening

Documented assessment rubrics, CE audit trails, examiner training, and published renewal rules (3-year Level cycles).

Phase 3 — Target

ISO/IEC 17024 alignment

Pathway toward internationally recognized personnel certification standards once governance maturity and volume justify accreditation.

Continuing education & renewal

3-year professionalism cycle

Level credentials (and TOP 1% designation) operate on a defined validity window with mandatory continuing education (CE) for renewal. Intro Certificates of Completion remain permanent proof of foundational education.

Verify a certificate
  • Typical Level validity: 2–3 years depending on tier (see credential pathway)
  • Renewal requires ISANT-approved CE / recertification workshops logged in the registry
  • Grace period: 6 months after expiry before status moves to lapsed
  • Revocation remains available for ethics violations — visible in public lookup

Frequently asked questions

What happens when my credential expires?

Level credentials run on a defined 2–3 year validity window. Before expiry, complete ISANT-approved CE / recertification workshops logged in the digital registry. After a 6-month grace period without renewal, status moves to 'lapsed' and re-examination may be required.

Can older certificates be looked up in the system?

Yes. All ISANT YYYY-XXXX credential numbers have been back-registered in the ISANT database and are searchable on the official verification page.

What is the difference between an Intro certificate and a Level credential?

The Intro Certificate of Completion is permanent and confirms foundational course completion. Level credentials document progressive education and assessment under ISANT standards, carry an expiry date, and must be renewed through continuing education. Neither is a medical license.

Is ISANT an ISO 17024 certification body?

Not at this stage. ISANT currently operates an education credential and public registry model. We publish this clearly so employers understand they are verifying education completion — not a regulated professional license.
